Sharda Patterns is a Playing Card Manufacturing Company. We provide customization services as per client’s needs. We are one of the oldest playing card manufacturing companies in India running for over 70 years. Using quality raw materials to produce the finest product is our mission. The passion of designing & manufacturing playing cards was founded by late Shri. Mangaldas M. Shah seven decades ago. This resulted in the birth of Sharda Paper Box Mfg. Co. During this time the manufacturing of playing cards was in its infancy stage. However his desire to manufacture games such as playing cards benefited him in gaining strong leadership status in the playing card industry. Sharda Paper Box Mfg. Co. is now known as Sharda Patterns.

Sharda Patterns is based in Mumbai (Andheri East). We have a complete in house set up whereby we carry out printing, coating and finishing. Employing the most skilled workers is our forte. Using the highest quality raw material enables us to produce best finishing and overall an aesthetically pleasing final product. We are a determined team as we strive for new opportunities and reach the goals put in front of us.

We offer our clients with a wide range of services to meet their ever growing demands. The services that Sharda Patterns provides are as follows:

Designing (Customized)
Panel of expert designers are employed to design playing cards. Currently we use CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to design customized playing cards. Moreover we also provide an excellent Custom based web software to design personalized playing cards.
Printing
We use continuous, phased investment programs in order to maintain state of the art technology to provide products of highest quality standards in a timely manner. Our infrastructure comprises of a Heidelberg offset printing machine to give the most perfectly finished playing cards.
Coating
Coating is one of the most important processes in manufacturing of playing cards. We provide 3 types of coating. These are as follows: Aqueous, Solvent and UV. This leads to give a high gloss, slippery and smooth finish deck of cards as well as an environmentally friendly product. Please see click here for coating table.
Finishing
We provide various methods of finishing such as lamination, foil stamping and embossing. We achieve high accuracy in our finished goods which is of a high quality.
Packaging
Basic packaging is as follows: 55 cards are tucked into a single carton. 12 of those are then packed into a dozen box. Both the single carton and dozen carton boxes are designed and manufactured in house. Strong 5 ply cardboard boxes are used to pack 60 dozen boxes which are then sent via transport to the customer.

Shrink wrapping, cellophane wrapping and any kind of packaging is offered to our clients as per their requirements.
